MAGMA Engineering Korea Co., Ltd. successfully participated in SIMTOS 2026, held from April 13 to 17 at KINTEX, Korea, presenting simulation solutions for the digital transformation of casting and manufacturing processes.
At Hall 8, Die Casting Theme Zone, the MAGMA booth featured MAGMASOFT®, SIGMASOFT® and MAGMA ECONOMICS introducing a range of process simulation technologies and practical applications that attracted strong interest from visitors.
In today’s manufacturing environment, achieving the right balance between quality, productivity, and cost has become increasingly critical.
At SIMTOS 2026, simulation-based process optimization emerged as a key topic addressing these challenges.
At the MAGMA booth, visitors explored solutions covering casting simulation, economic evaluation of processes, and injection molding analysis—offering a comprehensive view of simulation technologies across the manufacturing value chain.
MAGMASOFT® enables the prediction of mold filling, solidification, and defect formation in casting processes, allowing users to optimize process parameters before production. Beyond simulation, it serves as a decision-support tool, helping manufacturers evaluate improvements in yield, defect reduction, and process stability based on reliable data.
In addition, MAGMA ECONOMICS allows users to assess the economic impact of different process conditions by analyzing cost, productivity, and yield simultaneously.
This enables not only technical optimization but also informed, profitability-driven decision-making.
Alongside casting solutions, MAGMA also presented SIGMASOFT®, a simulation tool for injection molding processes.
SIGMASOFT® accurately predicts injection molding behavior for a wide range of materials—including plastics, elastomers, thermosets, and LSR—helping to identify potential issues early in product development and mold design stages.
Through this integrated approach, MAGMA demonstrated a comprehensive simulation environment covering both metal casting and injection molding processes.
SIMTOS 2026 was more than a technology showcase; it was an opportunity to share practical approaches for improving quality, productivity, and profitability in manufacturing.
Through valuable discussions with industry professionals, MAGMA reaffirmed the growing importance of simulation technologies in real production environments.
MAGMA Korea will continue to provide innovative solutions that support process optimization and help manufacturers enhance their competitiveness through simulation-driven engineering.
