If you are an experienced user of MAGMASOFT®, our workshops will deepen your knowledge of the software and give you an overview of numerous additional application options. You will take a close look at simulation results, learn how to derive adequate measures using the MAGMA APPROACH and communicate those consistently and effectively in your company.
Groups with a maximum of six participants per workshop and your own MAGMASOFT® workstation ensure an individual and intensive learning experience.
November 13-14, 2018 (Sand mold) and November 15-16, 2018 (Permanent mold) - This workshop aims at showing you the systematic and efficient use of optimization for your specific tasks. For this purpose, you bring your own projects. read more
November 27-28, 2018 - In this workshop you will get to know more about specific topics of the Geometry Perspective in casting simulation, design of experiments and autonomous optimization. You will learn how to purposefully use parametric geometries in MAGMASOFT® and increase the efficiency when creating your own geometries. Moreover, after the workshop you will be able to create geometries without using external CAD software. read more
November 29-30, 2018 - In this workshop we present well-established strategies for adjusting your work with MAGMASOFT® to the specific requirements of your company. You will systematically evaluate simulation and optimization results using practical examples and develop your own strategies for their implementation. read more
December 11, 2018 - This workshop provides you with much helpful information about the effective use of simulation and optimization in MAGMASOFT®. For this purpose, you will work with practice-oriented examples and applications focusing on major key areas. read more
December 12, 2018- - In this workshop you will learn the basics of how to use inverse optimization and will practice the use of user-specific results ('User Results') for simulation and optimization with MAGMASOFT®. read more
December 13, 2018 - MAGMAstress offers a variety of alternatives and ways to simulate residual stresses, distortion and crack risks. This workshop gives you an overview of the possibilities, innovations and current methods for using this module. read more
